Who we are

THEDATAINC LTD ("The Data Inc", "we") is registered in England & Wales, Company No. 16241687, and is the controller of personal information collected through thedatainc.com. Contact: atif@thedatainc.com.

What we collect and why

• Contact form. Your name, work email, company, topic and message, so we can reply to your enquiry. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• Discovery call bookings. If you book a call, Microsoft Bookings collects your name, email and the time you choose, so we can hold the meeting.
• Emails you send us. Kept so we can reply and keep a record of our correspondence.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies on this website, and we do not sell personal information.

Who processes it for us

• Formspree delivers contact form messages to our inbox. Formspree is based in the United States; transfers are covered by its data processing terms.
• Microsoft provides our email and Bookings service.
• Amazon Web Services hosts this website.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, records are kept for as long as UK law requires for business and tax purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email atif@thedatainc.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
